§  Provide professional advice and administration on the selection, ordering, planting, and maintenance of plants and landscape both within the shopping mall and outdoor.

§  Growing potted plants and nursery stock and maintaining records on the growing operation.

§  Oversee and supervise contractors in the execution of landscape works.

§  Assist in the preparation of maintenance programs for the control of plant diseases and insects as well as preparation of fertilizer programs for various types of plants and landscape.

Job Specification
The candidate will implement the Mid Valley Megamall & Southkey Megamall’s Online Strategy, maintaining and managing the efficiency of the online tools.This role coordinates with the internal Leasing, Customer Service & Exhibition teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency invoice and cultivating the online media referral network.



Job Descriptions

§ Maintaining and Managing the Megamall’s digital platform.

§ Define and implement communication development activities on Digital and Social Media.

§ Monitor the online tool efficiency and trends and propose for adjustments if need to.

§ Manage data update and ensuring the data accuracy.

§ Manage online media campaign and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, editorial planning and coordination, community outreach efforts, promotion and etc.

§ Become an advocate of the Megamall in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questionswhere appropriate.

§ Monitoring negative responsereceived in social media and coordinate with Crisis Communication Committee onappropriate response.

§ Regularly feedback insightsgained from online media and analyze, review and report on effectiveness ofcampaigns in an effort to maximize results.

§ Work with inter-department toensure information is kept up to date.


§ A Diploma or Degree qualification in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent.

§ Strong project management ororganisational skills.

§ In-depth knowledge and understanding of website, social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.

§ Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships with the stakeholders.

§ Team player, with the confidence to take the lead coordinate with inter- departments when necessary.

§ Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.

§ Self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a small team, and in a pressurized and changing environment.

§ Experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management will be an added advantage.

§  The candidate will be given on-the-job training in Kuala Lumpur before he/she is transferred to Mid Valley Southkey City, Johor Bahru.


§  A Degree qualification in Mass Communication, Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration.

§  Preferably with 1-2 years working experience in shopping centre management, retail,marketing or event management environment.
